The Knots of Freedom earrings were Inspired by the remarkable escape of Tho Tho. an artisan at Eden. who was manipulated into captivity where she was kept 3 stories up for months. Yet. despite her circumstances. Tho Tho never gave up hope. Instead. she collected scraps of cloth. which she tied together to create a rope that she used to escape from a third story window. Each Knots of Freedom piece is a symbol of the patience and fortitude it takes to go through the healing process.
